 Special thank you to Jennifer Mitchell for our 3K-1st in-person chapel this week!  She did such a wonderful job teaching us that although we are all different, we all need God and His love to fill us!

We were so excited this week to welcome Matthew Bishop and 2nd grade back again, this time for a special Easter-focused in person chapel for our 2nd-5th graders!

LS Chapel 3.29.21

 Today we were so excited to welcome Mr. Matthew Bishop to campus!  He is a pastor, illusionist, and dad to PreK student, Grayson Bishop.  Pastor Matthew, along with 2nd grade helpers, encouraged us to focus on the real reason for the Easter season--Jesus' Resurrection!!!  Thank you all for leading us this week!!!

SPIRIT WEEK NEWS

NEXT week is FPD spirit week. March 15-19^th

Dress Down Days:

Monday- Favorite Color Day

Tuesday- Wacky Tacky Day

Wednesday- St. Patrick’s Day. WEAR GREEN!

Thursday- Favorite Sport or Sports Team Day

 Friday- Viking Spirit Day. Wear Red & Black!

FPD SPIRIT WEEK Community Giving - Elementary students will be collecting items this week for United in Pink’s summer camp. This camp is designed as a ministry for kids whose moms and grandmas have had or are battling breast cancer. It would be awesome if you could bring in one of these items:

     *16 pack crayons *markers *baby wipes *paper plates

Some Elementary classes may walk down to watch the high school relay races on Wednesday & Thursday at the football stadium beginning at 2:15. *if you need to pick your child up before carpool begins on these two days, please contact your child’s teacher for pickup location.

* Parents and siblings will NOT be attending the Lip Sync contest this year.

Friday, March 19^th is a half day. School will dismiss at 12:00pm. We will begin carpool about 11:45am.

Lunch WILL be served on Friday for 1^st-5^th grades.

*3K, PK & Kindergarten students who will stay for clubhouse will need to bring a lunch! Viking Clubhouse & Crew will be available until 6pm.

 This week we were so excited to welcome Children's Pastor Nick Wilbur as our 3K-2nd grade in-person chapel speaker!

 This week's chapels have been so special!  Former Lower School Principal Wade Putnal kicked off our Mixon-Fincher literacy week by sharing a special story in chapel, In My Heart.  We love you, Mrs. Putnal!

Lower School Chapel for the Week of 1.11.21

 This morning Dr. Shealy led our in-person chapel for students in grades 3K-1st.  He reminded us of God's care for the birds and how we can find comfort in that and in His love for us!
